How to download an OK.ru video as MP4

Here is the complete method to save an OK.ru (Odnoklassniki) video on your device, with no software and no sign-up. It works on computer, Android and iPhone.

Find the video link

Open the video on OK.ru and copy the address from your browser bar, or use the share button to copy the link. Both ok.ru/video/… and ok.ru/videoembed/… links are supported. Only public videos can be accessed.

Paste the link and start the analysis

Paste the link into the VideoGrabber field and click the analyze button. The analysis only takes a few seconds and shows the title, thumbnail and available qualities.

Choose the MP4 quality

The available qualities depend on the original video, from 144p up to 1080p. A higher quality gives a sharper picture but a larger file: pick 360p or 480p to save mobile data.

Save it on computer, Android or iPhone

On a computer and on Android, the file goes to your Downloads folder. On iPhone, use Safari: the file appears in the Files app, in the Downloads folder. If the video starts playing instead of downloading, long-press the download button and choose “Download Linked File”.

What if something goes wrong?

If the analysis fails, check that the video is public and still online, then try again with the ok.ru/videoembed/… link or a little later. Only download content you own the rights to or whose author allows copying.
